But he claimed he was too drunk and tired and simply passed out. Her defense claimed he sexually assaulted her. Next, John's longtime friend took the stand. Robert Johnston happened to be in the apartment on the night of the attack when Lorena chopped John's penis off.

Jurors listened to how police officers scrambled around her neighborhood to try to find Lorena Bobbitt's husband's severed penis. She was accused of cutting it off, then getting into her car, driving off and tossing it out of the car window. Jurors then got graphic details on how John Bobbitt's penis was re-attached successfully in a nine-hour procedure.
